BALLROOM & LATIN

Have you ever wanted to learn to dance like they do on TV's hit show "Dancing with the Stars" then these are the classes for you! Brian, Nuroc's Ballroom & Latin teacher, started dancing at age 13, socially in classes then progressing through to many competitions as an amateur and then professional, teaching and coaching in the USA, UK and Asia and Australia over the last 30 years. Brian is an expert in helping newcomers get started quickly with his fast start programs.

In December 2007 Brian did two introductory lessons in Latin & Ballroom for Nuroc Dance Company's existing students and due to the success of those 2 classes, and the requests from many students for further classes to be held, Nuroc Dance Company has now included regular Latin & Ballroom classes into their timetable!

Ballroom & Latin Dance Classes are held as follows:

Where: Castle Hill Community Centre
(Under Castle Hill Library - parking is available under the Community Centre - enter from Castle Street)

Cnr Pennant St & Castle St, Castle Hill

The class is held in the Rebellion Room of the Community Centre.

When: Every Monday night (except in school holidays) - courses run for 5 weeks & it is recommended you start at the beginning of a course.

Course dates start on:

Monday, 27th July 2009 - Waltz & Cha Cha - Level 2 Beginners to Intermediate

Monday, 31st August 2009 - Foxtrot & Jive - Level 2 Beginners to Intermediate

Monday, 19th October 2009 - Tango & Merengue - Level 2 Beginners to Intermediate

(Please note that these courses are structured for people who have completed a Beginners Level 1 Course previously in the above dance styles. If you are a beginner dancer, you are more than welcome to come along and try as the basic footwork will be revised at the start of each course but please be aware that most of the moves taught will be intermediate moves)

Time: 8pm - 10pm

(please meet outside the Rebellion Room at 7.45pm to register your attendance)

How much: $90.00 per person for a 5 week course (payable on the first night of the course) or $25.00 per night, which includes 2 hours tuition each night.

What you will learn: You will learn how to dance at a social dance level the 2 dance styles included in each course.

Who should attend: Beginners to Intermediate Ballroom & Latin Dancers! Even if you know a little bit of Ballroom & Latin why not take the opportunity to learn some more or brush up on your skills!

These are fun Ballroom & Latin social dance classes for people looking to learn a new skill in a fun & social environment. Remember even if you haven't danced before, you are more than welcome to attend Brian's Ballroom & Latin dance classes!
